Welcome to the Manure Challenge!
The final event for the Manure Innovation Challenge was held virtually on June 2nd at 8 am PST/11 am EST. Eight international startups, each with a solution to capture value from manure-based by-products, pitched their innovations to a live, worldwide digital audience of agtech stakeholders.
And the winner is Digested Organics! Congratulations to Digested Organics for winning the $50k non-dilutive prize!
Creating Opportunity and Reducing Waste
A future where there is less waste means a future where farms are more productive and our ecosystems are healthier.
Technologies making waste management more efficient both in terms of dollars and in terms of environmental impact exist. However, these solutions are not being implemented at the level required due to lack of commercial incentives.
We are looking to help scale commercial solutions so that farmers across the world can more effectively manage waste.
The Manure Challenge will guide startups with solutions that enable economically and environmentally superior manure management practices on an expedited path to market.
